2010-2024. On Sunday, September 15, we celebrated the orphanage with most of the children who have lived there, together with their parents/guardians. Many other important people linked to the home/children also joined in. Those who were once small children are now a group of wonderful young people with their own unique live paths. The last two children at the home will graduate in November and start boarding school in the new year, together with siblings from the home. Then the home will be formally closed and SINA/KIIRA will take over the three buildings that the children lived in. Going forward, SINA/KIIRA will contribute to ensuring that young people in the area get a good start to their adult lives.

As is fitting, good food was served, former employees were honored and our young people presented themselves through performances and speeches. The foundation will cover education for those who are still in education until 2030 and they will be followed up by us.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish the 26 children who have grown up with us all the best. Remember that you are always welcome to visit Nyenga Foundation ❤️  Although the era of the orphanage is over, the rest of our important activities continue in full force: school/kindergarten for 350 children, health center with maternity ward, all surrounded by innovative agriculture.
