We had a good exchange visit to Busaino Fruits in Wanyange to learn about herbal remedies for malaria and identify what crops can be used for organic pesticides.

The visit is part of our #STEAM program at New Horizon Primary School, where we have embarked on the mosquito module to learn how to address the problem in our community.

It is also part of our school farm program and for this term the focus is on establishing a garden for herbal plants/repellents to be applied to plants to control pests and diseases.

We look forward to more cooperation with Busaino, an agroecology centre.
