Nyenga wants to be a center for competence development and exchange. Now the first master’s thesis with fieldwork from the area has been published.

The student is affiliated to the Center for International Health at UiB. Thank you for the good cooperation and well done Marte Bodil Rød and Professor Ingunn Engebretsen! We hope and believe that the findings can contribute to a better offer for mothers and newborns. The publication is an important step in the right direction.

Students in other fields from the universities of Stavanger, Trondheim, Oslo and Ås have also done their fieldwork based at Nyenga. Within their area, Engineers Without Borders has contributed with participating field supervisors linked to “Master with meaning”.
