Change in management

We would like to welcome aboard Laureene Reeves Ndagire, joining the team at NYENGA as the new General Manager. As leader and with support from the board in Norway, she will be responsible for daily management of the organisation in transforming it to become a self-sustained center of competence.

Laureene is a graduate of Lancaster University Management School (UK), with a Masters in Knowledge Management and Human Resources and a BA (Hons) in Organisations, Work and Technology. Her areas of expertise include; Agricultural markets and value chain analysis; Agricultural and rural development programs/projects monitoring/ impact evaluation; Management of Knowledge and Innovation; Management of innovation in organizations and cooperatives; Gender Inclusive practices in value chain innovation platforms.

For the past 5 years, she has been working with farming communities to address infrastructural constraints related to poor transport, storage, processing and packaging facilities by developing different mechanisms and tools for reducing food loss and waste early in the supply chain of fruits and vegetables.

With an interest in farming and community development, Laureene joins NYENGA to work alongside the team in building a community oriented center that brings together individuals at national, regional and international level to co create, share knowledge and learn from each other on how to create resilient futures for everyone.

She likes hiking, travelling to new places, and can never say no to a good read.
