It helps!

8 years ago a little boy, about 5 years old, moved into the home. He had lived alone with his disabled father, in practice been a maid for him. It was a challenging task for just a small toddler. He had little opportunity to play with other children, let alone simply be allowed to be a child. The boy was referred to as stupid and deaf. It has turned out that he is not! He was, however, under-stimulated in key development areas. The boy needed time, further help and care to recover from being neglected and being able to become part of the siblings at the home. But now he is!

He is good at practical work and likes to be the “assistant” for the adults. The animals enjoy his care and attention, as he has the ambition to become a farmer. Someone who said he was stupid? He has become the strongest performer in his class!

A little life among many with similar and perhaps even more engaging stories. “No one can help everyone, but everyone can help someone”. It helps!
